Your words of comfort and support have been most valuable. Losing a son at 29 is something you do not prepare yourself for . The thought of planning my son's Funeral seemed like a nightmare , Donna and her team made this job a lot easier . I first phoned William Mitchell for some advice on a situation that had came up before my son's Funeral was planned .

Although his Funeral was not yet booked with William Mitchell, Donna took it up on her self at 8pm on the night to do all she could to help . From the very first phone call, I knew that her care and compassion was everything myself and my family needed at such a difficult time . Donna has a kind , calming and reassuring nature about herself. She gives honest advice and puts the welfare of not only my son but also my family first . During the 3 weeks my son was with William Mitchell, I don’t think there was a day that passed by were Donna didn’t ring to check in on our family, and to organise things that we hadn’t got round to doing or just to give us the reassurance that our loved one was being taken care of . William Mitchell, where do I start? Losing a brother is something that was never expected or planned. With a broken Mum to look after I solely relied on Donna and her team to help plan a beautiful send off for my beautiful brother, which it was .

From the first time I spoke to Donna I knew how serious she took her job, everything she did was done with care and perfection . There wasn’t a day that passed by where we didn’t receive a phone call checking on how my mum was . Your love towards your job inspires me, you are what can only be described as one in a million .

I was able to sleep easier at night knowing my brother was in the loving home of William Mitchell . Not at any time during planning the Funeral did my mum have to worry about anything as all that worry was taken off our hands by Donna's organisation. (more…)

Mom passed away in March and Donna and her team were recommended to us. I am so pleased they were as I could not have gone through the Funeral without them. Their friendliness and thoughtfulness were invaluable. Their premises have a lovely relaxing feel which makes a difficult event more bearable and the Chapel of Rest is a fitting resting place for your loved one. Donna and her team looked after Mom for me and sitting with Mom in the Chapel of Rest was comforting. They are a very friendly, caring, professional unit and so pleased that you were there to look after Mom for me. Mom would have loved you. Thank you so much.
